What is a late 90's (98-99) dependable Minivan, suggestions?

I am moving into a new home and will be in the market for a minivan, do you know of any good ones that have good trannies in them?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

NOT A NISSAN QUEST...our first one was a 95 GXE
and it never gave us any problems...we currently have
an 01 GXE and it is crap...fewer options than the first
one even though it is the same trim package, poor quality
materials and workmanship when compared to the 1995
          model...

98 and later are Sienna. My wife has one and it is pretty good. 3.0 has decent pick up and she has the XLE - Leather, power everything, sunroof, CD changer. Take care of it and it will run forever. I have had a few Toyotas and they are just as durable as BMW and require less upkeep. You won't be disappointed.

What about rust issues in cheap steel? Still a problem with certain Toyota's?

98 was the first year for the Sienna, which is what we have. Its been reliable and good quality. No rust, etc. The new Odessey came out in 99, and is a bit bigger.

Its no M3, but is great to have with kids - lots of space, but not a bad gas guzzler. Keep in mind it doesn't tow much, so if you would like to get something that could one day handle your car and a trailer, you have to go to something SUVish.
