Poll: Should I tint my windows or no?

I'm on the fence. My car has smoked elips and a blacked out grill - will soon be shadowlined with euro trim and smoked turn signals. If I can find some MHWs I'll snag those too. Pretty much it will be murdered out. Either way - summer is here (it was 91 degrees today) and it's decision time. What do you guys think?

I say no tint. I think clear windows give the car a clean Euro look.

I personally do not like a dark tint on any vehicle period. You can not see shit out of them at night, that being said some will say no to tint, but the tint helps in the heat and when you live where you do and drive a black car it is needed. IMHO, but I put tint on everything I drive as well since it helps. Get a high performance tint in the 40% range and look at something that has a slight reflective property to it as well. Also it is illegal as damn it but you might be able to find a reputable shop do the entire windshield. If so it is like driving a pair of sunglasses around during the day. :D

I always say not to tint in a performance minded car. Also, I agree that most euro cars look better without tint.

I don't think I'm going to tint it. I want my car to be the e30 version of this:

It gets up above 110 routinely in the summer where I live, so I tint every vehicle I own. I agree on some vehicles it look better with no tint. But to me the extra UV protection for the interior, and keeper the interior cooler or worth the posible asthetic degration.

I have had my car tinted since new and it has kept the dash and interior like new. I did find a great shop and when I went in the back to talk with the tinter, he tinted the windshield for an extra tip. It has made the most difference keeping the car cool in summer here in Texas. Also, put the best tint on possible for UV blocking. The windshield is the lightest possible to avoid cops, etc. It has kept dash nice and crack free!

It may look better untinted, but unless you live in a cool summer place, it makes the difference!

I said light tint... I think think the limo tint looks stupid but you're in Texas so it's understandable.

You need to shadowline that bitch though if you're going to tint it up.

I personally like a very light tint on the rear three windows. This way, visibility to mirrors and out the front are not impaired at all. Because my car is so low, I get a lot of light shining into the car from peoples' headlights and the rear tint gets rid of a good amount of the glare. It also keeps the car nice and cool inside in the summer.

If you must tint, i answered "Light tint"". Airco well be more effective, your hands don't burn the hell of that much on the wheel and you dont give people the ""wrong impression"
