yeah if it was local id check it out first, it may sound exciting but you must dig him for information. never can be to sure

sounds like no price for the motor listed, but $300 for the tranny. Depends how much he wants for the motor and swap stuff, and you need an e34 525i pan, make sure that's what he has.

that sounds like a good deal. but they are becoming more and more common. My brother and I pulled one out of a 525i last week for $170 at the local junkyard.

Oops, the motor is going to $700 sorry, and the tranny is $300. Still a decent deal?

$700 includes the e34 oil pan and the required booster? thats a pretty good deal as long as the motor checks out. sounds like this may belong to a forum member, maybe the one that was selling his setup...what was his SN, E-rich?

Nope, no plans really. Just found it and was wondering. You sound like you would be dissgusted if I swapped it though? My car now has about 180hp and from my research and understanding the non M M50B25's have about 190HP. If anything it will be turbo'd. A motor swap for a 10-20Hp gain isnt for me.
