That metal is so thin there that you're pretty much going to have to cut a section out of a parts car and weld it into your car.

    I had the same thing.

hm...the one dude that voted to keep the little bugger around hasn't shown his face >:]

    any input on the rust?

    -more on unwelcome inhabitants
I went to check out an old peugeot a while back to see if it was worth buying (it was cheap and I was poor...but no, it wasn't worth buying).
Anyway. the thing hadn't been driven in a year or two and I popped the hood to hear a rustling. I didn't actually find what it was that made the sound, but I did find a healthy amount of rodent droppings on the spark plug covers and such. Not to mention the FAT black widow that was hiding underneath the hood.

i let my car sit for a few months while building another e30 and it acquired about 8 black widows. i had to pull it in the garage, jack stand it, spray infected areas and then release a couple of foggers in the garage. It took a week to erraticate them all. id hate to have a bite from one of them while working on the car.

I visited a body shop that had a 3.0CS parked outside. Well as I walked up to it, this gray cat jumped to the window, startling me. As I made my way to the front of the car, I saw the cat again, but this time he was outside of the car.

The CS had a gaping hole in the passenger floorboard, and the cat used this to get in and out of the car. I guess it was "his" car. There was a water dish right in front of the car and everything.

So there's this pretty deep dent underneath my left taillight that I believe was not on the car when I bought it. I stopped driving the car for a few months, and it's rusted a little. (How serious is the rust? I'm assuming it can be sanded off and painted...or should I just replace this panel?)

    Anyway.
So because of the nature of the dent, there's a small crack in between this panel and the next and I believe a bloody spider has made its home in there. When I first started driving the car again about a week or two ago, there was a thick net of webs on that corner of the car, spanning from the dent to my bumper. So i wiped em off.
I come back a few days later and there's another bloody web on the same corner. I didn't think much of it and dismissed it as coincidence, but today I go out to change my air filter and there's another bloody collection of webs.

So here's what it comes to...kill it for its insolence? Or keep it as a...good luck...spider?
Working...
