    Test drove a new ///M3

Today i got the opportunity to drive a new M3 as well as a 135i and all i can say is WOW! the V8 screams and sounds absolutely amazing, and i'm sort of excited to see the new gearbox coming out this summer. The M button on the steering wheel was already programmed to stiffen the suspension to the tightest setting, quicken throttle response, and I also noticed the steering became a lot more responsive as well.

The car is an interlagos blue model with grey leather, no idrive, 6mt. It's a demo model that's been there for 5 days and it's racked up 170 miles already from just the short test drive route. (I got to take it out for a little longer than that)

The 135i was black sapphire, red leather interior with a gorgeous black wood trim. It was, unfortunately, an auto. The only 135i on the lot. It had 33 miles. The new auto trans in sport mode was surprisingly smooth and in sport mode with the pedal to the floor, this thing MOVES! My favorite part of the 135 is actually the black tailpipes, which i thought looked fuggin awesome.

Anyone else drive any of these cars yet? Chime in!

Unfortunately, no. But I would love to get behind the wheel of either one of those...

And could you possible post up a pic of the said black tailpipes from the 135i?

our E92 M3 at the 'Ship has about 750 miles on it. They are tryin to rack up the miles on it to "Up-Tune" it to its full power. Oh and 135's are amazing.

it sucks that these people go out and test drive a new m3 with a 1200 mile break in period balls to the wall. Oh well. I've driven both, and love them both. The brakes on the 135 are way cooler than the black tail pipes, although they are a nice touch.

                    For merely scientific purposes:

Did you happen to experience similar and or consistent cockometer readings as had been previously achieved by such distinguished analysts?

                        eff that.

and fuck how ugly it is - the 135 hauls balls. I bet if you dropped another 5k in mods on that thing it would run rings around the stock m3 for half the price.

The Manager of the dealership is a good friend of my Dads, and we've been buying parts there on and off for over 10 years. It's a fairly awesome situation.

And I'm sorry, The new ///M did have iDrive, i don't know why i said it didn't.
