What routine Maint. should I do for a 3k+ mile trip?
AAA Membership ~$100 a year. Emergency Roadside Assistance Nationwide. http://www.aaa.com
Basically I use it for the 5+ Free tows a year, up to 100 Miles each. I have the plus plan. It's helped a lot, and I've let my friends use a few tows over the years. As long as the card holder is present the car can be towed. I know if you get the premium plan it's even better, I think you can get 6 tows up to 200 Miles each, but don't quote me on that because I'd have to call an out-of-state agent because they don't offer it here. Best thing of all? You don't have to have AAA as your insurance company to use it. I don't.
So if I bought a car 99 miles away that was non op they would tow it home for me?
Hell yeah they will :-D I've purchased 3..4 cars like that? Best part is if you break down you can always call someone from r3v in that general vicinity and get it towed there.

You still going to be in Asheville in 2 months? I reserved a cabin right on the river. I'm bailing on the beach completely.

Wow, I hope that's stuff that just had to get done anyway. You don't do that before every 3 thousand mile trip, do you? lol I NEVER do that much before driving 3k miles. I just change my oil and call it golden. I'll do my tranny fluid and diff fluid this summer, but it's been about 25-30k miles. It's just time to do your belt, right? lol
Seems pretty complete to me! I usually just make sure I'm full of oil and hit the road!
Although, I must ask, why put on euro trim before driving 3k miles? why not do it after?

That's how I roll.
The t belt was supposedly changed but I cant prove it - so I'm swapping it. The rest isn't broken but isn't fresh so I'm swapping it. I haven't owned the car that long so I've never changed the diff or trans fluid. It's mostly stuff I should do anyways. The car is my DD so it sees some abuse. I'm mainly doing the cooling system because it runs too cool and I don't like it - so i'm replacing everything. Maybe even the radiator.

WELL - that definitely makes sense.
My car got a major overhaul (new motor) before I started using it without worrying. :)
