I've gotten the chance to drive a few 1 series auto and manual. I really like them alot.
The new 3 series cars are pretty dope too. We just had one in the shop that got stage 2 dinan software, and a dinan intercooler setup.

Someone ask for pics, i dare you.

True. You were not dared, nor double dog dared. As far as a dealership installing stage 2 dinan software & intercooler, Im calling stupidity or bullshit on this one. BMW dealerships are not supposed to sell Dinan any longer, being that "BMW performance" has plans to make tons of mods for BMWs. Dinan shit voids the BMW warranty, therefore your warranty work must be done through Dinan. Congratulations on making money off parts, but fucking over said dumb ass customer... Shame on you for slapping on that Dinan badge.

Edit: If not a dealer, you still have the customer fucked because you inttalled aftermarket parts that do not carry over warranty. You now must go through Dinan for warranty claims regarding and problems. Had you bought BMW Performance parts, then warranty would still be taken care of by the dealership.

Hmmm i didnt catch him saying he worked for a dealership, maybe you know him personally.... In fact from those pictures it doesnt even look like the car is at a BMW dealer lot but just a normal shop.

God, those wheels are horrid. Why invest that much into overpriced, warranty-voiding parts and then cheap out on some ASA's?

Way to dork up the thread devoted to 1er's.

I put together a performance apperance package 123d a few weeks ago at work. the 123d pulls really nice. a nice car, but not worth the money, and what is the hype with the diesel crap anyways with you guys in the U.S.????????????????????????

the new gasoline motors are just as efficient as the diesel motors, and dont sound like crap.

the 335i is really a very small amount heavier, and i feel it is a ton more fun to drive-- but the 135i is nice, just very pricey.

and here in Germany at the dealer i work at, we put "non-bmw warranty" parts on cars if the customer wants-- whats the big deal-- even AC schnitzer parts that fail, or cause motor failure must go through AC.

sorry for dumbing down the thread.

                      resume.

and no I don't work at a dealership. I work at an independent shop in seattle by the name of car tender.

and after test driving the 135, i would have immediately tested the m3!!
