I know this subject was beaten to dead. I just acquired a 88 Cab, it ride OK home. The ICV in the car was wrong one (T style). I bought the L-type (used), clean it, measure the impedance (seem correct 40 for two outter pins and 20 for inner pin). I clean the throttle body (using cab cleaner, oil deposit in it), reinstall everything back. The idle now bouncing back and ford between 1000 and 1800. I measured the TPS and the impedance is a little high (1.4 ohm) when the butterfly close and very big (infinite when the buttlefly open slightly). I guess I wet the TPS. Do you think I should wait until it dry out? Anything else I should check?
When I unplug the ICV, the engine die.
