Seriously guys, I don't think he posted the vid to get a critic of his driving. I know I wouldn't be balls out if I had only had a car on the road for a month or so. We've all watched as this car has progressed and I for one just wanted to see how the car looked in sounded in motion.

what your saying is that when people have wrecks they place blame on other people or other factors of the wreck. (trying to make josh look bad) when in fact, i remember when josh's wreck occured he took plenty of the blame because he recognized it wouldnt have happend if he hadnt gotten a little throttle happy with a new motor.

for me, i place blame on myself for driving faster than i should have been and makeing the decision to try to dodge an animal on the road rather than hitting it.



i know i have learned a lesson, and im sure that josh has also.

I think this is the first time I have seen anyone mention driver school on this forum. All of a sudden everyone is like drivers school is what you need!!! Wierd.

The reason why it's the first thing suggested: It points out (or your instructor does) the errors in your driving techniques.
The majority of people out there drive the wrong way period. If you attend a driving sch. it will show you the right way to drive....the fact that you have driven a car for xx,xxx miles or had seat time in stop and go traffic + commutes doesn't make you a good drive automatically.

Even an auto-x can show you how many bad practices you have. If you don't participate in an event or have a pro evaluate your driving, you will never know where you rank and how dangerous you are on the street.

PS: If you critique other people....prepare to be criticized yourself 8)

That douchebd is just a flamer. He would prolly turn around and call me stupid for taking an Eta on the track because I am sure I have more than enough seat time on a course than he does.

Car SOUNDS badass. The only thing I saw of concern was he gassed a little early and hard on that first exterior shot but otherwise it looked like how I would drive on a STREET. Hell with only 800 miles on it I would baby it too, Id prefer to have a new motor broke in before I was powersliding everywhere.

I am also shocked you havent crafted a head restraint camera mount yet, even I am in the works on that one and you are the bastard that rebuilds cars.

Haha, we made one out of a piece of PVC pipe... just drilled two holes for the headrest posts, and stuck it through there. Held a camera like a champ... unfortunately, the camera was autofocus and all of our videos were at night. You know how that is. :(

It's the worst when you bust a nice drift or powerslide, and come home to find a blurry picture with "OHHH!!!" or "AWESOME!!" and an engine revving in the background. So disappointing. Guess we'll try a camera with manual focus next time. :roll:

LOOK, most of us have been there, at one point or another we all "run out of talent". Thats how my mechanic put it when i killed my oil pan on a curb while screwing around. Sometimes its a LOT worse than others, but i SEVERELY doubt that anyone on here can honestly pull that holier than thou bullshit when it comes to pushing your car on the street. Shit happens, thats how life is.
