Naaaa. I really like the 1 series coupe...a lot. I'm sure the vert is a great car but its way too feminine.

Too expensive for what it is. Saw a 128i 'vert @ the dealer over the weekend, sticker was over $41k. A few grand more could buy one of the 335i coupes on the other side of the showroom. Looked a bit too femme to me also, which I'm sure wasn't helped by the color. I guess BMW cabs are just going to always be pricey, my '87 stickered for $34k. Not cheap now, and HUGE money then.

I test drove a 135i coupe though (automatic , but still pretty sick) and it exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be getting a 1er at some point, not 'till my 325i is worn out though. Plus I want to wait and see if they do anything as far as tii, club sport, ///M, etc (last one is doubtful, but I'd be all over it).

I saw a vert on the road yesterday. I'd take one but I'm partial to verts anyways.

US needs the 1er hatch. The 1er coupe/'vert look smooshed in the back-end IMO. Give me a 135d hatch and I am set.

                335i Coupe = win

E30 Convertible = best convertible yet.

only looks good with the top down!! All this fancy smhancy folding hardtop technology and they had to have a soft top, WTF. But the coupe is sick.

I want a 120is with the N45 4-cyl in the euro-spec 320is. That would be the ultimate for me-revvy engine, light weight, hatch or coupe.

I like the 335i vert, but only with the top up..

the 1 series is meant to be a coupe. The hatch is ugly as hell too.

I prefer the vert. Saw a teal green one with tan interior/tan top yesterday, made me think of the 1991 318's. The coupe is a little too bubbly for my liking.

If i had the fundage to buy one, I would prolly lean toward the vert. I drove the 135i coupe 2 weeks ago so im not too sure how it differs in ride quality to the vert. I think they both look great no matter what.
