    WA - Leavenworth Drive 7/17

Just an FYI for you people in WA - Seattle area that might want to do this, and haven't heard about it. It has been circulating in the Yahoo NW BMW news group.

    * meet at the South parking lot of Northgate Mall around 8:30 and leave at 9:00am
    * We should roll into Leavenworth around noon
    * Everybody can eat, shop, or whatever and discuss a departure time
    * If you plan on staying overnight, plan on making your own accommodations

no, the Bahn Brenner drive is to Mt Rainier on July 11th open to all euros http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1454828

this is the drive the NW E30 list has put together. I'm going to try and make it out since I missed the Evolution Sports drive to Leavenworth that was the same day as the E30 picnic.

Ahh.. cool. I might be interested.

Yea, I forgot about the Bahn Brenner drive going to Rainier. All I remember is it was the day before Waterwagens.

Then either Waterwagens or the BB drive used to be on a different date.

waterwagens is generally the 1st weekend in august.. but last year is was sept 1st due to Pacific Raceways not having an open spot.

Bahnbrenner had a BBQ last year the day before waterwagens, this is what you may be thinking of. Each year waterwagens and the title sponsor puts on a drive (usually 2-3 weeks before the show) last year was a BBM drive to Ocean Shores, this year it's the BBM drive to Rainier.

Ahh.. it must have been 2 or 3 years ago, but I'm 100% certian BBM had a drive to Rainier the day before Waterwagens. Im not suprised they dont do it like this anymore, as a lot of the diehard guys were probably busy with last minute detailing.

that was the Crystal Mountain drive (2002) and you're right it was the day before waterwagens... that year was the drive to Leavenworth a couple weeks before for the waterwagens (Evolution Sports was the title sponsor that year) official drive.

Bump for the drive coming up this weekend.

Last I heard there were about 6 confirmed cars, maybe more - that was last week sometime.
