typical to the JDM motor craze, but just for european cars (bmw, VW, etc)

I dont know that there are many.

Alex Lipowich, a CCA Club Racer, has a business that imports Euro spec BMW engines. Be forewarned - they are very costly.

The JDM motors are much cheaper in comparison due to the relatively short lifespan of cars while in Japan.
