I don't know how some of you guys are getting such good rates either... I guess it has to be location. I am 30 with a clean record - $65/mo for liability and underinsured - 1989 325i. State farm was loads cheaper than Allstate, whom I had been with for ~12 years. They wanted $106/mo for the same coverage. Maybe I need moar airbagzLeave a comment:

I'm trying to find the best rate. I really don't understand how people get such low rates. The lowest I found is around $130 a month from Liberty Mutual. I am 24 and this the first car going under my name. So if anyone can find me a better rate let me know please. I have a 1991 318i..
thanks...Leave a comment:

I pay 95 bux a month for liability. I also pay 295 bux a month for full coverage for my 06 Mini S. It just blows to have tickets on your record.

Insuring a car in BC is never beneficial. 0% discount is still 280 sum $ every month. I pay $240 with a 10% discount. We get ass raped in BC for insurance. ICBC:hitler: makes outrageous amounts of coin, yet they still keep upping the rateswell if you live in Canada then for young drivers(under 25) then BC is the best place to get insurance, because there's no penalties for being young, everybody starts at 0% discount, and every year of driving experience you gain(accident free) you get more of apercentage off

600/6mos with 21st Century for liability, 1 speeding ticket and 1 at fault accident.
It's supposed to lower this summer when I turn 19 and a point expires.
And I am the one who pays for it; just under my parents plan to make it cheaper.Leave a comment:

I'm paying $260 every 6 months for both cars! Both have liability and uninsured motorist coverage and this is through Allstate.
My own plan under my name. Only reason it's cheap is I use my grandparents' address in Mariposa, CA.Leave a comment:

I can't figure out why it could be so expensive - since Canada has government "free" health insurance the car insurance company only pays for property damage, which is nothing compared to medical costs.Leave a comment:

About 900 every 6 months for 3 cars through my Mom's insurance and I am only 20. 2002 and Turbo just have Liability, ETA has full coverage since it is driven daily + sitting in an apartment parking lot, and would ruin my life most being wrecked.Leave a comment:

Do you give the money to your mom to pay it? lolFuck you guys, I pay $253 per month for just liability! The only ticket on my record is expired registration (1 speeding deferral, 1 speeding dismissed.) One accident in which I was not at fault, and I never reported...
And im on my mom's plan... So wtf? What am i doing wrong here?Leave a comment:

Louisiana insurance = corrupt
Anyways with AIG I pay 900 every 6 months just for liability (10/20/10). When I get a chance to, probably after I renew in 4 months, I am going to go to full coverage and see if I can get a "stated value" coverage with them or somebody else.Leave a comment:
