    Necessities for S50 swap

What all is absolutely neccessary for an S50 engine swap into an E30. If someone could make a list of all neccessary parts needed to do this, and a list the non-neccessary, but "couldn't hurt" to replace/upgrade parts it might help a few people who have wanted to do this kind of swap.

It just got me thinking when I usually see S50's go for around 6K, and this shows up.

    Someone could save some money.

Nice, I just saw that auction as well. Decisions decisions, and now that I got a 5 grand check from a relatives inheritence I'm seriously thinking about it as well. Me and another guy are going to go in on the ORCA cd together. I figure it can only make it easier.

The project ORCA CD is WORTHLESS. I gave mine away. Complete and utter shit.

            Threw it away ...

How the heck are us simpltons supposed to do a engine swap?

I was holding onto the hope that it would guide me through everything.

Plans for Jenny are going to have to change.

I think the CD is very helpful. Especially the wiring section. I completed the swap as a total novice and couldn't have done it without the CD. Don't ask me for a copy as I won't sell or distribute it illegally.

                Pricey but not worthless...

It does have some valuable information that is hard to come by if you don't have experience with the conversion.

i think jordan is trying to say that there are much better ways of getting all the info, including this forum. or contacting certain member's fathers and buying a write up.
