    Me vs Cat

You know when your driving down the road, especially at night, and see a cat and it decides to cross the road at the last possible second. Well that happened to me tonight on a 2 lane country road. The speed limit was 60, I was following a bunch of cars from a car meet so we were driving in a pack, the cars in front of me braked so naturally I started braking and there I see the fucking cat in the opposite lane and decides to jump in front of my car. I felt him roll under my car so I pulled over quickly to check the damage. The bottom of my bumper on the driver side fell off, and its cracked underneath the foglight kinda. I'm going to take a picture of it this morning. It could have been way worse though. It could have taken the bumper underneath my car and it would have been history. So I'm thankful but I'm still pretty pissed. But whatever its going to the body shop monday for my the fender bender that I was in a couple weeks ago, hopefully they can help me out with the front bumper.

I should also note that earlier my friend found one of those magnetic ribbons people put on their cars supporting some cause, it was white and it said I adopted my cat. We had it in the car but he put it on before we went on the drive.... Karma is a bitch

I hit a deer in my first e30 @ 75mph, it busted a fog light, put a crease in the fender and pushed the diving board bumper and busted the trim up on the bumper.

In NH at least its the cat/dog owners responsibility to pay for the damages to your car if you hit their animal. On the same note you have to be a pretty big asshole/have no soul to go up to the family afterwards and try to make it happen.

Seems like it held up pretty well compared to the damage I've seen from some cars hitting large animals like that.

I hit a deer this winter on my way back from my job at the mountain i worked out. I was driving my parents town car too :( it was a small waffleswaffleswaffles hit it pretty hard. What angers me the most was the fact that if i didnt hit my brakes the deer would of hit the side of my car. So now i need a new headlight bumber grill and i gotta bend my hood out a little not so fun hitting a deer to say the least

Poor cat. A car is just a car and can be fixed- the cat was a living animal and probably someones pet. You're a jerk for bitching out the cat when you did more damage to it than it did to you.
