Just called 911 for the first time in my life

i was just on my way home from work drivin down the highway... come around a corner & over the hill comes a fuckin Mini-van driving the wrong way on a devided highway. I saw it pull into this nightclub after it cut across in front of me... picked up the phone & dialed

luckilly i always carry a sternographer in my back seat for times like these & she took a transcript... here's what she took down 8)

"911, please state your emergency"
"yeah, i'd like to report a car driving the wrong way down rte 1 near the Vision Night Club"
"which way was he going, sir?"
"ummm... northbound, heading south"
"southbound in the northbound lane?"
"yes sir, he pulled into the Vision Night Club. I think in Saugus"
"oh... so the vehicle is no longer on the highway"
"yeah, but i thought i'd report it anyway"
"ok, thank you for your call"
"well... do you at least want a discription of the car?"
"yeah ok"

("yeah, ok"?!?!?! WHAT THE FUCK????)


so i gave him a description of the mini-van, partial plate number & state (NH plate)... but for christ's sake... i know there's bigger fish to fry than a guy who WAS driving the wrong way on a highway, but at least ACT like you're fuckin interested.... thanks for instilling a sense of security on our national highways, a-hole :roll:

The cops don't care half the time.

I was running a fireworks stand this past week and at 11pm on the 3rd 2 kids took of runnin' with an 80 dollar package of fireworks. I quickly jumped out the window and chased them, but they were really fast and had a head start so they got away. I saw a cop sitting in a parking lot that was right next to the one I was chasing them in so I went up and told him what happened and he just said, "Ok, there is nothing I can do. We're not gonna catch them." He didn't even care. Sometimes things like that just piss ya off. He was standing outside a skating rink and he couldn't even act like he cared about a robbery. I should have stolen his wallet and run of yelling, "Your not gonna catch me!"

I respect cops for what they do cause we all would be screwed without them, but sometimes they could humor us and act like they care.

even though alot of the time they can be prics and seem like they arent doing they're jobs. although when it REALLY counts, they will be there.

That has to have been the worst first 911 call anyone could ever have made.

The one time I've called 911 a transformer blew up and pieces of it landed in the highway in front of my dad's Expedition. Lighting struck it and launched the parts of it like 100 feet into the highway. Scared the shit out of both of us.
