So I'm driving home on the turnpike yesterday about 75mph or so, when out of nowhere I heard this loud "BANG" from what seemed to be the transmission tunnel.
I pulled over, looked under the hood, under the car (not that you can see much because its so low) at the rear subframe. Waited a few minutes, car is still running fine, no leaking fluids, so I finish the drive home.
As I'm driving to work this morning, I notice this low frequency vibration shaking the shifter and the car to an extent on light acceleration between 1000-3000 RPM's. The suspension feels fine, but I know this vibration was not there before.
I'm going to run by the muffler shop after work and see if I can get up on the lift, any ideas of what I might/should be looking for?
Thanks in advance!
