      You could get some metal chairs and weld them to the springs and the springs to a heavy base and have rocking chairs.

      I like the hanging lamp idea too.

        Car part furniture works in the garage, I am going to try and make a barstool from a stock complete strut housing and bent bottle cap, the wheel would be the base.

                My last girlfriend understood my car habits and actually enjoyed making car furniture and buying car stuff for my place, too bad she left because now I'm stuck with a bunch of bmw stuff all over the house.

                If a chick won't sleep with you over having some car furniture chances were she wasn't going to sleep with you to begin with.

                    or you could put them under your aerobed with a sheet of plywood between the two when she wont let you sleep in the nice bed...

                          the lamp idea sounds pretty good... too bad i don't need any lamps right now.
                          the only thing about stuff like tables, is that no more than two of them are the same height. since the fronts and rear springs in cars are always different...
