Cabrio seats: limited recline?

I have a pair of later sport seats that look like m3/cabrio ones and their back doesn't see to have much of adjustment. They seem to go very little, from 90deg to say 65-70. Is this normal?

Yes, vert seats do not go back as far as others. There is a thread of how to change that though..pretty simple if I remember reading right.

One more question: are shocks on either side responsible for springing seat's bottom up and returning seat's back? Or is it 2 separate mechanisms?
