So I was with my friends brother checking out his 91', and we were driving and saw a bike cop with his radar out. Now this cat doesnt have a valid license so he just takes off and runs through two intersections until we are almost hit by a land cruiser, which made us run into a curb and fuck the front wheel. 2 minutes later Ive got handcuffs on. very exciting day.

please dont minimize this event. if the driver got 5 years in jail for evading a cop and hitting a curb i think the passenger may be facing at least 4 years in the "POKEY"

although I could only assume you would get magistrated as bail remanded as a flight risk.. since you guys attempted to evade arrest and all... but you would know all that already since you totally got handcuffed and arrested and taken to jail, wouldn't you?

P.S.- You don't go to jail and get sentenced, you do something, get arrested, get taken to central booking and either magistrated or put in jail until you can be magistrated (up to 24 hours) then they set your bail, then you get bail posted by your mom or a bail bondsman, then you are free to terrorize the world once more until trial, where a sentence is given out, but usually not jail time for something as minimal as this given the young age and what not.


Ask me how I know. Come to think of it i still have like 35 hours of community service to finish and a defensive driving course to take before august, fuckin eh. cops suck. read the thread "so it's illegal" or something like that for full story of my offense haha

You have official not RUN from the cops. I believe it's called present participle. You have run. I could be mistaken, but I'm fairly certain I remeber that's what it is. To have presently done something in the past in the english language... basically haha. Not that it matters because you didn't ran or run from the cops and neither did your friend.

In a similar but true story, I lew past a cop doing about 90... as he had just changed fom the right lane to the left lane (my lane) and into a median like he was going to turn into a neighborhood, thinking it was a person who had no clue wtf they were going, and being polite since I am when I speed, I took the right lane (so I wasn't blowing their door off like a dick as they turned) only to realize it was a fucking squad car who had pust pulled in and parked to catch people (irony much?) and he must have just put it in park and turned it off, because as I aproach and pass him (no clue how he didn't notice my headlights flying up on him...) my radar detector is going off (K-band so I didn't even bother to think to slow down...who the hell runs k band nowadays??) but I guess he had parked and shut it down because he just stared at me as I looked out my open window cigarette in mouth and kind of slunk down in my seat and shit myself thinking I was going to get reemed by this cop, but apparently he didn't feel like reeling my in since I had like a 20 second head start on him and was doing about 108 once I saw him... I really didn't care at hat point, I was just going to keep speeding up until I saw lights pretty much. With a prior and being past doubling the speed limit I was going to jail anyways, and it's only evading arrest if he shows me the red white and blues and I speed up on him. I switched across 2 roads parallel and kept on my way home just in case he had radioed ahead. If he had radioed ahead I imagine it went something to the effects of "Car traveling southbound, alma, doing 108mph" - "Make, color, model?" - "Uhhhh.... Flying.. Dark Blue... Brick"

In my defense... I was on my way on a big loop to allen then to pick up stuffed crust pepperoni and black olive pizza and back to my apartment... and I ordered the stuffed crust pizza before I left my apartment, so it was a bit of a run. And I don't know about you guys... but man.... hot delicious stuffed crust pizza... I move.
