I have a Mark D chip (http://www.dsylva-tech.ca/). I'd say it was a good $209 spent. But what on earth are you doing with a 4.10 in an ETA??

ya its kinda crazy, 1st gear is pretty short, so are the rest but its too much fun not to have, i do about 30 miles a week on the highway and when doing 70 im around 3300 rpm.top speed is about 95 or 100, anything over 80 is asking for trouble.

Yeah, it sounds impractical but fun. Chipping would definitely help you since you would get about another 500RPM, and if you're running a 4.10 you need whatever RPM you can get for that poor motor.

is there an actual gain in power, or is it just an extra 500 rpm

There's a definite gain in power.

you will definitely notice a difference in power. Just do it and dont look back. Try to stick with either MarkD or JC chips.

Running a MarkD here. Very noticeable difference when its in. Runs better, accelerates faster. All in all best bang for the buck unless you're doing serious mods.
