Computer help...

If I visit some websites my computer is telling me that an illegal operation has occurred and it forces me to close the window. This only happens on some website – my school site and R3vlimited are fine. Ebay and many others aren’t working.
I did some virus scans and got all the windows updates I could.

Any ideas – I’m no computer wiz :-)

What web browser?

Run Adaware or Spy Sweeper first of all, probably a lingering piece of spyware.


If your still using IE6 like most people, I would upgrade to Firefox (mozilla.org) much better browser, faster too :)

I used Firefox for 2 weeks or so and wasn't impressed at all. I uninstalled it and went back to IE6

IE6 is the reason we have not seen higher quality websites, its so friken old.


Any other browser can beat IE6 :)
