Before you go off and buy one, BURROW ONE from a friend or another e30 - something. Find an e30 in a parking lot, and ask them if you can burrow the car part. Give them your license when you go test. Something.
You can get them cheap, I know there's one in the FS forum right now for like $25. I got mine for around $20 off a friend or somethin like that.
But seriously, don't just buy one - test the theory first. Silly to spend the money when it's possible, and it is!, that it's not the problem.- Sean Hayes

Yea i wasnt going to but i don't know anyone around here that would have one. Do you think thats what it would be? Cause when I was reving it up in neutral it would take a while before it reved and it like sputtered you know? I don't it could be a few things. I guess its just trial and error. But yea i guess i got to go find one haha.

That definitely doesn't sound like the AFM anymore.
The car needs three things to start correctly - AIR, which it usually good, SPARK and FUEL. Check to make sure the spark is strong. Check the plugs - this can tell you what's going on in the combustion chamber. Then, check to make sure the right amount of pressure is in the fuel rail.

Yep, do this. Also, your fuel mixture may have been off, causing the plugs to foul.
As Sean said, you need to check for proper fuel pressure, and good spark.
