From what I've heard there were E30s in European countries that came from the factory as Mtech edition 325i sport models with the ///M badge on the rear. If I recall correctly they all had the Mtech aero package. Kind of like our Mtech II convertibles. The car pictured in that thread is just a standard US spec E30.
