Brake lining light

So my brake lining light has come on for some reason and has been on for a while now... what does it mean?

There's a wire that get's broken when your pads get too low, which set's off the light. So either the wire got nicked, or you need brake pads, or both. Mine stays on all the time because i put new brakes on and didnt feel like replacing the part.

The little sensor is like $1.50. Just get 2 net ones: one in the drivers front brake and the passenger rear.

hahaha .. .2 new ones? no no no ... be a man! here's what you do: rip that shit out, short the connector and zip-tie it away. That light will never come on again.

If it takes a stupid light to check your brakes... buy a honda. (why did I pick on honda? hm .. i'm not sure that's healthy.. lol...)

But no, seriously now.. lube caliper guides, check wear, bleed fluid yearly! no warning light necessary.
