Now I have a question: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!?!?!

Are you really gonna take you car to a shop and cough up like $2500 to do simple stuff like fluid flushes and timing belt/water pump? Why the hell wouldn't you do that yourself, do you just not ever work on cars?

So, best of luck to ya, but expect some minor flaming here.

I hear ya. I've read the timing belt change instructions several times and thought about doing it myself. Unfortunately, I live in a condo and my garage space is on a slant, which limits my ability to work, spill, and leave a car on jack stands for extended periods. Combined with my limited skills and weekend time, I have to pick and choose which jobs to do.

The plan is to get all the essential stuff done now, and as other things pop up down the line, I'll try to handle those on my own. Hey, at least I'm gonna do all of the interior stuff myself.

Also, for all of you that complimented me on the hardtop, unfortunately I already sold it. Due to the condo life, I would have no room to store it while not in use, so it's gone.

Thanks again for all of the tips.
