Debating the change in color paint job. My car is currently bahama beige and needing a refreshing soon. Thought about painting it cinnabar red, but then thats extensive door jam and under hood work.......anyone have some pics of bahamas out there ??

isn't that the beige that almost looks like a washed out cream color?
Either way, stay stock. Besides to change the color the right way would just be painting the jams and the underside of the hood. It would entail pulling all the glass out and everything in the interior.
People that have seen it done right can back me up on the fact that it will get really expensive really quick.
Stay stock. Its cheaper and easier.

its almost like a brown metallic color, kinda nasty. The clearcoat is gone on the hood, roof and truck lid. Geezzz I really want to paint it red but Im doing it myself and it probably would be to labor intensive time wise. I hate to remove old rubber , seals and such as they will never go back the same.[sigpicComment

I would keep it the same color. If you want something slightly different but not too drastic, just mess around with the color that you have now.
Make it a shade or two lighter/darker and then you won't have to worry about painting the door jambs and whatnot.
Also...post some pics of your car :D

Even a repaint in the stock color should be done with all of the glass out. But I agree with you, if you change the color, you pretty much need to strip the entire car to do it properly.isn't that the beige that almost looks like a washed out cream color?
