Anyone on this board running a Garrett Disco Potato (GT28RS) turbo? Doesn't matter if it's M10, M42, M20 etc. Just curious on some opinions.

no but when I used to run with the isuzone guys quite a few swore by it as the small turbo of choice. I've never heard anything but praise for it. Hope that helps some, I know it isn't e30 related opinions, but the turbo itself has a good reputation which should be all that really matters I guess, unless there is some sort of compatability question, which should be no different from the usual using any other turbo on our stock non turbo cars. -

yeah that's the primary use of it is low boost power, and it does the job great, I would love to see someone strap one to an m20. It's one of my favorite daily driver 4pot turbo's.Comment
