Also to be perfectly honest there is wrong information, dumb mods and yuppie/purist/kids/assholes/douchebags/etc on all 3 of the forums.

Each forum has it's own "tech guys" that know what they are talking about and each has those that just spit out what they read.

They all have their place :)

BF.C: if you love your new fucking haircut and drive an e36 m3 which is better than an e30 even though an e30 owner won't admit it.

Let me edit it for you...

    Ok all correct now ;)

Good call, she needs a bit of work but it's overall in great condition. Got it from the original owner! Here's some pics the day I got it...

He had seat covers on. The passenger seat is in excellent condition as is the rear. The driver's needs the side redone and it'll be great.

Here's the spare. He told me he'd never taken it out once. It's mint!

And this is from this last Sunday after I got finished painting the wheels. I'm bummed because I wanted it to look more OG, or alloyish but whatever.

Next upgrades include H&R Races Springs and Bilstein Sports, Mark D'sylva chip, then onto repainting the entire car!

    Welcome aboard !!

This is the preferred e30 site IMHO, if you are an old school hot rodder then you will appreciate the fact that most here have some degree of purists in them. These guys like to shove the biggest most hp BMW motor they can into a e30 and emotech they just like to slap a turbo on the m20 and go on. Granted we have several members here with big hp turbo cars. But all in all this place is known for its 24v motor swap section.

Just keep your head high and search some before posting a thread as I bet your question has already been asked and answered in most cases. Now lets see some pictures of your e30 soon...

Nothing wrong with patting yourself on the back, I guess.... lol j/k Tim ;)

r3v has by far the most tech info but we are also a jaded and close knit bunch so expect a rough welcome, if you stick around you will learn to love it.

E30tech is really good for turbo info but I find the rest of the forum to be really boring... and they arnt as brutal or honest.

Bf.C dont even bother for e30 info...
Which is why I love it here...

Which is good for some of us with 24v swaps. ;)

I've never drifted. I'm an old school hot rodder and just got into these. Looks like it could be fun, though. I really want to find a small track a new guy can have some fun just driving fast. Is there anything like that in Socal?

I think I'm gonna stick around here. It takes a lot to piss me off so I'm not worried about it. I just can't handle virtual shit-talking. But I do love picturing them typing extra hard on their keyboards in capslock.

I only go on bimmerforums if im searching google and it links me there. Seems to be more newer car enthusiast on there. Thats my .02 cents. Danny.

p.s I guess its e30tech's maturity I prefer. Even the noobs act better.
    go to emo teck then

Not here... Out of the three owners, two of them are the most active members of the forum.

I think I've found my new home! Thanks to everyone that's pitched in, I appreciate it.

I really think you should re-post the question on e30tech to gauge people's reactions.

They all have their perks. I think this one is my favorite even though i frequent the BF.c forced induction section quite a bit. Theres one killer build on e30tech im folowing pretty closely. Other than that if i need to know something i go and search all 3 and come to a decision and if i cant i usually ask here :)

The for sale sections are super helpful too. BF.c is mostly e36 parts though

e30tech has some sweet homegrown turbo cars too. Theres a bunch of help for anything forced induction over there.
