        Have to think about it? I'm smart enough to realize that the front of my car won't clear a curb.

        So no, i don't have to think about it every time I pull in a parking spot, I just know.

                  But yeah I realize how low my car is and how high standard curbs are. I believe standard curbs are 6 inches high. My car is like 3 1/2 with the iS lip.

                  6 inch curb + 3 1/2 inches of clearance= NO GO.

                    My i lip is just high enough that I scrape on the lower side of it without doing any damage on the rare occasion that I fuck up my parking job.

                    The big pain in the ass is the curbs that are back from the sidewalk that you don't see sometimes. The other day I was pulling in at the gym and they had a fucking curb 3 feet in front of the sidewalk that I couldn't see at all cause of the angle I came in at. all of a sudden BAM. my fucking tires hit it. I was hoping to got I didn't nail my valence.. thankfully I didn't.

                        my roommate drives a civic ex coupe that I swear has been lowered. Every time I ride with him he pulls in and scrapes the curb. It makes me bust up laughing every time.
                        Not that I care, of course.

                          my front valance does not clear a curb (it scrapes the bottom)... so I or IS lips won't clear it at all.... and I scrape with my muffler a little if I pull in too far.

                            Early euro front end FTW... My pan is less than a pack of smokes from the ground but my lip is still a foot off :)
