Coaster brake on one side? But freewheel on the other? Ive never heard of such a thing.
By coaster you mean pedal backwards to stop right?
Or do you want a hub that allows him to roll backwards without having to pedal backwards? Thats a [b]free[b/]coaster.
Finally flip hop hubs have cogs on both sides but you can only use one, its to allow for smaller (14t) freewheels.
Cassette Hubs and LHD are another issue altogether but I don' think your son is old enough for any of these if you need a coaster.
Sold it.

Gets him out of the house is what I'm trying to do.

I'm pretty sure you have to buy a new hub with a coaster brake because the brake is built into the hub. I could be wrong though. If you had to buy new hub, you're better off with just buying a complete rear wheel. If it is just going to be a temporary thing, try to get the cheapest wheel you can find. You could try www.danscomp.com. They may not have the wheel you want but they do have the knowledge you're looking for.

A problem you may find is that coaster hubs may only come in 16 spoke. For little wheels.

As for the blazer thing. 350 small blocks fit in both s-10s and blazers (2nd gen) for modification purposes regarding suspension I would chose a 2wd. It's my attainable dream vehicle, leave me be.
How old is your son?
Sold it.

you would need to get a new hub..... it would not be worth it is lace the hub into the old wheel.... most likly it is an alex single wall wheel.
go to a garage sale and find a bike with coaster brakes and take the back wheel off of it and put it on the haro..... make sure it hs a 3/8th axle... (i think your haro does)
or a bike shop
