The Official "What instrument do you play?" Thread

So, what instrument do you play? Tell how long you've played it and rate yourself on how good of a player you are (1-10). Are you in any bands?

I play the alto sax, have been playing for 5 years now and I'd say I'm about a 7 on skill level.

taught myself how to play pretty slowly over the last 5 years. Would rate myself about a 6. I can pick up most songs but im not to good at improvisation

There are a lot of drummers. I'll be learning drums in September when school starts. I think I'll be good at it. I'm constantly drumming with my fingers to the beat of a song.

i bought a drum kit a year and a half ago so i could improve my stamina and get better coordination. i can play a few songs really well, but overall i'd say i'm a 2.5.

ive been playing guitar for 3.5 years, and i'm probably around a 5; but i really dont know, its hard to measure yourself against others when your into different types of music

I saw Reel Big Fish live. Good guys.

Anyways, I've had a guitar for a year. I play here and there, teaching myself everything.
