I dont recall anyone questioning the strength differences between the 10g steel and the 3/16" alum, just the plate design in general. But thanks for the info! -
For reference for those of you too lazy to look it up, 10 gauge steel is 0.1345" thick. That's a bit over 1/8", almost 9/64". 1/4" aluminum would be roughly the same strength, although there are a lot of variables in a comparison such as this.Leave a comment:
