I apologize for asking a stupid question, but I assume DOHC is M50/S50/S52-swapped E30?

I have an S52, but I have an aftermarket billet aluminum oil pan that has three drain plugs. It's based on the M50 pan, but no idea if the drain holes would align with your pan:

Got around to installing mine yesterday. Thought it was cool that it had e30/m42 stamped into it.

Getting it on with the splash guard was a bear. Had to 'clearance' splash guard a bit. If you're going to run it with splash guard - skip drilling the middle hole - or you'll end up boogering up the tab where the guard goes in.

Side shots with m42 pan. I feel much better now that the plate is on.

    Thanks again Eric !!

I'll be ordering one for the m20 soon.

I've run on the track, bottomed out MULTIPLE times on the road and track and the skid plate has done fine. I actually had to space it down about .5" for peace of mind clearance, but all in all, I love the plate.

After the first hard hit I would have checked the plate. If it was bent I would have fixed it. My plates are built for people with some common sense. And thanks for not Shitting on My product.
