the ignition coil in my 89 325i broke so i need to have one in there so i can work on the car. Can i use any ignition coil or are they model specific? what happens if i use on from a 4 cyl. in an 6cyl? just trying to figure out what is alright to use as i cant get one by the weekend.

so can i use the one from my 84 318i 4cyl to get my 325i going? what will happen, just need it to get the car running to do some work on it. I also can get a coil out of an audi 5000? not sure what the job of the coil is or if the wrong one will fry my car or not?Comment
