I'd guesstimate Matts car is good for a low 11 second run on the 1/4 mile, at about 120 mph
I figure Matt's car will run about 115mph in the 1/4. Traction is the real issue and he'll never see 11 seconds in the quarter unless he made a real effort to setup the car specifically to drag race and then made about 50 passes to learn how to drive it.

I have been doing the same with my 5er and am doing everything I can to help it hook up. It just got a 6 puck clutch last week. While I was under the car I removed the front sway bar and set the rear to full firm. I also removed the front strut bar but left the rear intact. My 5er easily has enough power to run 11s but it will be a miracle if I can ever put it there. I have established my goal at a more realistic 12.50 @ 115+

Todd's car with roughly the same HP only does 0-100 in 12.5sec
My car does 0-100 is ~11.25 with 290rwhp. Matt's car should have about 350rwhp at 20psi.

Well I agree with the issues you mention, but I said "the car is good for".. I didn't say "Matt is good for..." :)
The real secret is to get at good 60 foot time, getting it to 2 secs is a must to get any real results. And the choice of tires is very important, street tires are no good. M/T slicks.. oh yeah. But as you mention, lots of variables affect the 1/4 mile time.
TCD, you've got a pretty nice finishing speed.. 115 mph is very nice in a heavy 5er.

Todd, how did you get that number if you are doing 13.2 at 108 tou are saying it takes another 1.5 roughly seconds to get that 8mph? Drag newbie in me working there.

And you are starting from 0 so mad wheel spin again. Ken was say 130mph now that is a outlandish over estimate imo.

Oh I stopped by yesterday at about 1815 and you weren't home. The garage was open and the car was there but nobody home. Wanted to take car out for a spin and show Low Level E30 it as he is in neighborhood.

I presume you removed the front swaybar to save weight, not sure why you'd leave the rear in though (and set it to full firm), as they only work while cornering and will not help (or hinder) in a drag scenario, unless you are setting it up as a drift car too!?!?!
