How loud exactly is the stromung exhaust? How does it sound? Good performance?....etc. ....

excellent quality...not too loud...but it will get you noticed...

install was really quick...we put the car on a lift and it only
took 30 minutes to take the OEM unit off and bolt the Stromung
exhaust on...fitment is A+++

If you don't mind me asking how much did the muffler cost you total? I'd like to get a stromung in the future. Is yours a catback system or just the stromung muffler with custom piping?

i paid $580 at understeer.com for the catback system...

there are some stromung sound/video clips on the understeer
site featuring e36 M3 and 318ti...

I love my stromung. Like Bert said, its loud enough to get you noticed when you romp on it, but not obnoxious. And no drone on the highway. Its actually quieter when cruising on the highway then my old, rotted out stock exhaust.

agreed. it has a very pleasant frequency/tone at highway
speeds...it's not raspy either...it maintains a deep growl all
the way to redline...
