I'm headed to Stuttgart GE for work

I'm flying out this weekend to Stuttgart Germany where I'll working through the end of Sep. While I'm there, I'll be looking for Euro E30 specific parts, such as Euro headlights in the salvage yards/swap meets, etc. Any other Euro spec E30 parts I need to look for? I will be looking for some Euro spec bumpers for my 74 2002tii, I'm tired of the diving board bumpers and 02's look so much better with small bumpers. If I find a E30 touring for cheap, I would be tempted to bring it back but that's another story. With the dollar sucking big time against the Euro, it would probably cost me a fortune.

I'll finish up my tour at the end of Sep so I'll stay an extra couple of weeks to do some travelling around and conduct a QC test of the beverages in Munich during Oktoberfest.

I plan on attending the Nurburgring Historic races in August, every BMW enthusiast has to make a pilgramage to Nurburgring at least once in their lifetime.

You should rent a car and drive on the "ring"

I tried to do so a few years back, but there was ice on the track and they weren't letting anyone on it.
Count down to 1,000,000 miles: 490,649 to go

My jealousy borders on hatred at the moment!

      Sounds like an awesome oppurtunity!

Man, that's so not cool. Have fun though, I imagine you'll have a ridiculously full memory card by trip's end.

I would be really interested in some euro headlights (non-smiley, with city lights, flat-faced,) euro bumpers (front and rear,) early model euro front valence, and a euro front lip with the center cut-out. Let me know if you come across anything that's in good to great shape. I'd have the money ready by the time you come back to the States. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

          Take care man,

M Tech 1 wings, check panels, and guage clusters would all be worth something over here.

Have fun on your trip, and I'm sure we'll expect to see pictures every once in a while.
