In two weeks i ship out for bootcamp. And when i come back i should have roughly $10,000. O.K. this is were i ask the question. Should i get a 91 m5 just cause i like the way the look and the sheer size of them. Or should i just fix up the 86 325e.

Try to keep as much money in the bank as you can. There is a recession going on in the US. Bush has artificially kept many new home owners for going bankrupt. It will not last long. Wait another year, and you'll be able to grab a house for a pretty low price. People with cash in hands will rule, while most people are drowning in depts.

Banks will be short of cash and will welcome yours.

Get a later 2 door ('89 on) e30 in good shape.

Sell the old e30.

Take all of your cash and put it in a high yield CD (certificate of deposit).

Or if it's your feeling that things are going to hell in a handbasket (I'm talking about economic instability type hell in a handbasket) Invest it in hard currency (like gold).
