Buy individual parts or a wrecked e36?

I want to do the M50 swap into my 318is. Would it be better to buy the individual parts or just find a wrecked e36 325. I'm thinking I can also recoup some of the cost by parting out the rest of the car. Or is it cheaper just to gather up the individual parts? What do you guys think?

You could get a wrecked 325i, however I dont know what the demand for used e36 parts is.

You do need parts from other cars as well, like the e34 oil pan etc.... so I guess in the end the money you make parting the car out will go into the parts for the M50

depends on what parts you need, if you want just the engine, I'd buy it seperatly. But if you want some of the suspension pieces then buy the whole car. Unless of course the car is cheap enough. Just make sure if you buy just and Engine that you get everything with it.
