best paint for repainting my baskets?

My weaves are clean and in good shape but the paint has been scrubbed through in places. What's the best rattle can paint for color and look to repaint them? Where do you get it? Thanks

I used the dupli-color wheel paint at Advance auto parts. I also clear coated them, im happy with the results but wish i went with a lighter silver. They darkened up a bit after i clear coated them.

If you have the time and money i would try a few different silvers on 1 rim before doing all of them.

I forgot to mention i used the silver paint, not the gunmetal. The picture on the can looks like the perfect silver but after its sprayed and cleared it looks more gray than silver. I would try a high polished silver and clear coat it should be just right shade of silver. Then again it banks on personal preference as well.

What color are you looking to paint them? Stock silver?

Just look up Wurth wheel paint on Google. Plenty of places carry it.

I used Duplicolor and it came out a little bit darker and a little bit more metallic than I thought it should be. I also used too much clear in certain places and it got cloudy but I'm still quite happy with $50 wheels. It seems pretty rugged.

At 5 feet away, they look fine. No one's gonna look at your wheels with a magnifying glass.

I used the silver wheel paint from Griot's Garage and their clear lacquer. It was on sale not long ago.

I dont think the difference between Wurth and Dupli color is enough to justify the cost for shitty weaves. Ya know?

When I redo my RA's, I'm going to use a gunmetal dupli color (2 coats). then silver (2 coats). Should be a nice nogaro type finish.

Sounds interesting, post pics when you complete them.

On a side note, sanding weaves are pain the mother fcking ass. Also if you're up for it, polish the lip and paint the weaves. I really wish i did it afterwards they'll look awesome.

Fair enough. But OP was asking for the "BEST" paint.
