Honestly, I already found my dream wheels. 3-piece 17" Hartge wheels. 8.5" and 9" wide.

wheels are almost like an investment if you buy the right ones. its one thing i can justify spending on. some really desirable 3 pc light wheels you will never lose money on unless your r3v them

+1, in 17" though, 18" too big for an e30 imo

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Agreed. I've never lost money on a set of wheels. But it depends entirely on what you buy and their rarity. I have 3 sets of wheels that aren't made anymore, so they're not leaving my hands for less than I paid for them.

But on topic, i already have my dream wheels. 17x8 BBS LM.

You have to post up some pics of these things. I currently have the 15" type 2's i believe... the type 1's pretty much look like the 2's but are multi pieced and with rivets right? Either way i would love to see some pics.... the 3 piece type 1's are my favorite of all time, and i think they actually did make them in 4 lug.
