I think you absolutely should ditch those flower vase holders. If not from an aestetically point of view, from a practical one. Let's say that your car looks kinda like it's missing something....oh, wait a minute....It is missing something!! Oh, well.
The whole point of having vase -I mean- cup holders is to keep them from spilling all over your carpet, which in your case could actually be a good thing, for the sake of cleanliness...C'mon dude, please don't tell me that's how you keep your car...

if a cup placed there hasn´t spilled all over your car YET, it´s only because the cup holder is probably located very close to the center of gravity of the car. C´mon, I´d rather have my e-brake console back and go thirsty. And I´m no perfectionist.
