I have a 91 318is and swapped in an m50 this weekend. I just got my car cranked today and we lost power to the power windows, AC and Heater system. Fuses 16 through 20 have no power. The only conclusion the I cam to is that on the C101 connector there is something that triggers a relay that I cannot find on any wiring chart. If anyone has had this problem, please enlighten me. I know someone else that had this problem a few years ago and they just put in roll up windows. I refuse to do that. My C101 had more wires that all of the wiring charts that I have found. I need to put the car on the road tomorrow and get it to the muffler shop.

Well I still haven't gotten the car on the road but I think I have found the problem the electrics. Apperantely. the 91 318is is different than the rest of the e30's as for as the electrical connections go with the C101 connector. I need to hook pin 15 to pin 15. This is a starter wire that triggers the K6 and k7 unloader realays. This does not exist on the older cars. The 91 318is is seems to be the closest to the e36 than the rest of the e30's. Looks like my adapter wont work since I need Pin numbers that are empty on the one I have. I will cut the end off on my 318 engine harness and splice it into the e36 harness that I have to make things work right. I will update with progress.sigpic
