    Fender Roller. Who & Where?

Are there any tire shops in the Philadelphia/NJ area that have fender rollers at their location and will do it for you? Thanks for the help!

Wouldn't Azevedo probably have one at his shop? Aren't you pretty close to them?

Can you weld? Do you know someone who can? Find a factory jack from a mk2-mk3 VW and make your own.

        Here is mine

It works fine. A little weak for heavy triple wall truck fender lips but it would do an E30 no problem.

I did make a better one later though.

Yeah I'm about 2 hours away from Azevedo, he does have one at the shop. I think I heard he charges $75 each side which isn't too bad. I found a shop in NJ called Action Tire and I heard they do it as well. I just emailed them to find out how much they charge.

I would buy one but what's the sense, I would probably only use it once.

That build article is awesome ditchdigger, thanks bro!

I was thinking the same thing. Like ghonarea318i said, Eastwood sells them for $225.00 I may just buy one after all and start going to meets and gatherings with it and start making some bread....haha.

                Great video

I don't see why people don't get the whole job done and done right. If you roll your fenders, 90% of the time, the paint will crack at the lip of the fender. Find a shop that will do it right and paint them as well. Cracked paint isn't only ugly, it can easily lead to rust especially on the east coast. I would feel horrible paying 75 a side and then getting my car back with chipped up lips and shitty looking touch up on them.

Find a shop that you can trust, a shop that you have seen some good projects from and get it done there. They can either heat the paint and roll them so no paint cracks, this can cause discoloration, or they can roll them and paint them. You're a step ahead of me if you have a single stage paint job. Metallic will take more finess to blend due to different metallics now day.

Just don't sell yourself short, if you can't afford it now then save up. You'll be happy you did it right once its all done. I know I was.

                  Good luck man.

Anyone know a So Cal shop that does it. I already did my fronts via baseball bat and it came out pretty nice after a little bodywork and filling, but the rears are a major pita with a bat cause they are so much thicker!

The shop I got mine done at is the only place I will take my car for body work now. He did such an amazing job that I won't go anywhere else. Its right near me. Its about an hour from you but believe me, its more than worth it. If you want to see his work, go to the member's list and look up M3 Ryan. Look for a post for his car. The guy that did my fenders and body work, did his entire car. Shaved the door locks, shaved his front and rear bumper running lights, shaved the 3rd brake light, rolled his fenders to fit 16x8s with 245s all the way around and then painted his entire car.

If you want to see my fenders then you should go to the Van Nuys meet on the 12th. You'll see my car and my buddy's car.

^ cool man thanks. Ill be at that meet and maybe you can give me the details. I dont mind the drive at all. But as far as bodywork goes, I started this project and I gots to finish it, or else Ill never forgive myself for leaving the e30 half assed and just having someone else finish it!!
