My uncle is a cop and always has his off duty pistol in the glovebox, one time he got pulled over in his pantera and the cop got all crazy when he told him about it, made him put his hands on the roof and shit. NO GOOD!

Kid here who went to my school got pulled over, reached for a fake gun, cop saw a hint of it, and shot him in the head through the window.

      Don't be stupid kids.
      Reminiscing...

I think I will. Thanks. And I'm not as bad as you, but I still get pulled over on average monthly with stupid questions.

Every time I've asked (begged) for mercy they nailed me anyways...

I'll be nice next time - but if he pulls attitude - he can kiss my lilly white ass...

When a cop asks to search you car, tell him he can search anything in plain sight. i.e. he cannot search in a glovebox or any closed compartment.

Unless of course he has probable cause.

                1. pull over as quickly as possible to an area that is safe for you and the officer.
                2. immediatly turn off your car, and turn on your hazards.
                3. put your keys on top of the dash where the officer can see them.
                4. if it's night time turn on your dome light so they can see in the car better.
                5. have your insurance info, registration, and license out and ready.
                6. put both hands on the top of the steering wheel and leave them there until he comes to talk to you.

ALWAYS do this! Pigs just love it. :o
I do it every time BTW.

                  Whats a scarb?

Seriously, for about 8 months, I would have strings of 2-3 weeks where I would get pulled over EVERY SINGLE NIGHT I left my house.

I got pulled only once, for 43 (more like 60ish) in a school zone. Got off for it because I was nice and not an ass to the officer. I was stupid for going that fast, and made him feel that it was just a mistake.

I once was driving around and pulled up behind this e36. I was checking it out, when this guy flashed a peice outside of his window. Needless to say I turned away from that as soon as I could. I'm sure cops get a bit more scared when they see that, so I don't like to carry even paintball guns in my car.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

it all depends on the situation. from my experience, 95% of cops are assholes.

if you are from a far away state, they will rape you, knowing you will not contest the ticket.

if it is a local town, they also dont care, just want the ticket under their belt. i got a total of 6 points just rolling through stupid towns in my area (situations as not coming to a complete stop on a side road where it ends in a 'T' late at night). and you know for a fact it is a joke when you go to court. it is almost an immediate... pay the fine, pay the court fee, and they take the points off your license. you don't have to say a damn thing, this is the immediate SOP.

so far, i have gotten a warning one time, and tickets the remainder of the times. i have been courtious every time, to very little gains. most of the time i am clueless as to why i got pulled over.

so in conclusion to all this... i would say, be courtious, but don't expect much.

i'm sure situations vary all over the world... but if you live in central NJ... beware.. i'm in grandma mode 9 times out of 10, and rarely take my car out at night

Short for Scarborough, low-income suburb within Toronto city limits that I live in. Crime is pretty damn high here, so cops always pull me over asking if I deal drugs or if the car is stolen.
