I wonder if they'll find Chubby Stig from the American episode?

I really HOPE that it is awesome. But, from the looks of it - it looks SO lame.

What? What's that? What are they sitting on? FUCKING FLOODING CHAIRS? Yea, it's going to suck...

(also note the bad lighting, NO makeup - and yes, almost 100% of people you see on TV are wearing foundation or power. It also does't appeare to be a real studio, note the low ceiling and florescent lights in the back . It looks to be some shop they are just using to shoot in.)

i think the show will suck, because they will try to imitate the euro version instead of doing their own thing

Its hard to say how this might come off. If they aren't afraid to bash the cars and really be critical, it might be okay. But I fear its going to be a love-fest for whatever cars the manufacturers (advertisers) supply them.

Adam Carolla recently did a test drive special on Speed with Tommy Kendall about the Pontiac G8. If he isn;t too much of a sophomoric asshole, he might do okay with the part.

Some things translate well from BBC to the US. Like Sanford & Son, The Office and Millionaire.

Others suck balls. Ever see the handful of episodes of Coupling NBC did a few years back? Or Roseanne Barr's take on Absolutely Fabulous?

I'll give it a shot if it ever actually materializes, but I'd be lying if I said I was optimistic. But then again, I thought The Office would flop miserably with Steve Carrell, and it is arguably better than the original with Ricky Gervais.
