Fast Setting automotive epoxy?

Need a quick answer so Im posting in general...

I backed my Jeep out of a garage in a rush and broke off one of the side mirrors. Its a Jeep, so I dont want to spend to much money and dont care how it looks, I just need a fast setting, strong epoxy to hold the thing on and pass inspection. Mirror isnt the lightest. Any suggestions? Its a plastic on plastic "bond", so it needs to be able to work on that. Thanks.

no. it wont stick to the plastic mirror ^^^^^^^^

go to an automotive paint supply and get some panel bond. it is a 2 part epoxy we use to "glue"? metal to metal. it had different drying times choose the one with enough time to position it where you want it to go.
it is usually black too so it should blend in with the plastic.

x2 I made a headgasket, oil pan gasket and motor mount out of it nearly 3 years ago and its still holding with no leaks or signs of wear.

Go to a craft store for acrylic glue or plastic adhesive, It will melt the two pieces back together. Or find a place that has Weld On. Look up plastics in the yellow pages for retailers.

Grab a torch, melt both parts, stick it on, cool it off with some ice water, voila.

You can also just grab some 5 minute modeling epoxy (or automotive epoxy) from Pep Boys, etc...

I think the quickest setting is 5 minutes, and it comes in 2 parts that you need to mix.
