    New K&N Apollo filter....

I saw this in a Total BMW magazine recently and it looks interesting..........it appears to be like Pipercrosses new product, a closed in cone filter to replace a stock airbox.

For me, it seems ideal since the cone filter is not good in my climate (hot & humid all the time), and since I have an E36 328i MAF (larger inlet) so my stock airbox won't fit properly.

There appears to be tubing available to duct in the air from the grill area into the inlet of the cone airbox. So has anyone seen one of these installed? I'm checking with the K&N agent out here for more details.

K&N Apollo (appears to be much cheaper)

Cool... someone buy one and dyno-test it.

I second that, looks like it might work.

This could be a good compromise between a full-of-water-and-rocks E30 CAI and a standard ram (hot) air intake.
