The mats stay in place really well. They also hide dirt well and looks to wear well. I got them at Bav Auto.

Looks sharp with the new wheels, I'm thinking of Coco mats in my cabbie, do they stay in place or move around?

Here is a few newer shots with wheels, sides. I will have some outdoor shots tomorrow after a good wash.

    Clydesdale,
There is a good faq on this in the 24v section of the forum. I will post up a copy of the detailed conversion statement detailing all parts used.

What was the s52 originally in? I see this swap is done often. Was this the e36 m3 engine?

ON EDIT: I searched and see that the s52 was out of the e36 m3 as suspected. What about the trans and driveshaft? What mods need to be done to get this done?

Most important part, a good e30 is hard to beat, unless you have a Porsche :pimp:

    Great Car

The 14k did include all the labor, parts, suspension, 5sp swap, Aero Kit install, exhaust work, etc. Since I have had the car from day 1 (from 89 to now), I was willing to spend a little more on her. I was pleased with the outcome, and would take this over any 14-17k car that is out there.

It must be nice to have the gears and power to do battle on the 35 from austin to Dallas... the 318 just stays its ass in the slow lane.

    42k e120 m12

Kidding, but I think 14k is a bit much for even an S52 swap. I'm sheisty and squeezed my M50 out 3/4 assed at under 1500, but I know it costs a lot to have somebody else do it for you. Other people have gotten theirs done cheaper here before and it seems like it would've been a good idea to talk to people here first. Either for finding a good garage to do it for a good price or even to have it done by someone trusted on the boards who've done it before.

napabavarian said something about how the mechanics have to do all this work to find out what parts they need and stuff, but that's kinda silly. Pretty much all that work is already done by people here on r3v, so pretty much all they'd need to know can be found here, ETMs and bentleys and the brains of half the people here. It's just silly.

You are right sir, try tripling or quadrupling that number.
